Lessons are held once a week in the South Surrey/White Rock area and are either 45 minutes or 60 minutes in length depending on the evaluation of the instructor. Various method books are used in the studio including Faber, Piano Safari, and the Royal Conservatory of Music syllabus and curriculum. Students are provided with a well-rounded musical education that includes the study of Baroque, Classical, Romantic, Contemporary, and Popular music.
Each student has a personalized lesson plan formatted and developed to suit their particular needs and learning style. Lessons include technical exercises, sight-reading, rhythm and ear training as well as repertoire.
In order for students to progress in their lessons and reach their goals, it is very important for students to practice during the week on a routine basis. It is encouraged for all students to practice 5 days a week as this allows students to progress at an optimal rate that results in increased confidence and proficiency.
Tuition will vary depending on the length of lesson and the level of the student. Please enquire about the fee structure that would apply to your student. The tuition fees are for 34 weeks of lessons. The cost of 34 lessons is divided into 10 equal payments.
A two-week Christmas vacation and a two-week Spring Break vacation are not included in this 34 week fee schedule. In addition there will be 3 floating weeks scheduled sometime during the year that are not included in the fee schedule.
Please note that tuition fees do not include the cost of books, festivals or examination fees.

The fee is applicable to both new and returning students. Recital and Performance class fees will be assessed in September.
